A selection of the organisations I've helped think through AI, across public service broadcasting, development finance, an S&P 500 investor, an industry standards body and education delivery. Different sectors, the same job: turning AI from uncertainty into decisions people can stand behind.

Helping the Swedish Chamber of Commerce UK put AI to work for its members
Situation
As part of the AI and Data Working Group at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce UK, I help the Chamber itself adopt AI well, so the organisation can sharpen how it operates and how it serves a membership of UK and Swedish businesses, all while navigating fast-moving regulation and rising member expectations.
What I did
I provide strategic counsel on the Chamber's own use of AI: where AI can improve how it serves and engages members, how to approach AI strategy, procurement and tooling, and how to put sound governance and policy in place, aligned with emerging regulation such as the EU AI Act. I bring standards-grade rigour from my ISO/IEC work and translate it into decisions the Chamber can act on.
The value
An organisation better equipped to use AI in service of its members, making informed strategy and procurement choices, building governance early, and setting an example of considered, well-governed AI adoption for the business community it represents.

Advising public service broadcasters on AI strategy with VRT and Future Media Hubs
Situation
Public service broadcasters face a particular AI dilemma: the technology offers real gains in production and audience experience, but they carry public-trust, editorial and regulatory obligations that commercial media do not. VRT and the Future Media Hubs network needed senior, independent perspective on how to move forward responsibly.
What I did
I advised on AI strategy for public service media, where AI genuinely adds value in the newsroom and production, where the editorial and ethical lines sit, and how to build governance that protects public trust while still capturing the opportunity. This drew directly on my standards and policy work, including engagement with the EBU around AI in broadcasting.
The value
Broadcasting leaders with a clearer, defensible path on AI, able to pursue innovation in production and audience experience while protecting the editorial integrity and public trust that define public service media.

Development FinanceMultilateral Development Bank
AI risk, compliance and strategy for a multilateral development bank
Situation
A multilateral development bank operating across many jurisdictions needed to adopt AI while meeting an unusually demanding bar: exposure to multiple regulatory regimes at once, intense scrutiny of risk, and a mandate that makes responsible, compliant technology use non-negotiable.
What I did
I provided strategic support on AI risk and compliance with global regulations, helping the institution understand its exposure under frameworks such as the EU AI Act and align its AI activity with international standards. I brought the perspective of someone who helps write those standards, not just interpret them.
The value
An institution able to advance its AI agenda on solid ground, with a clearer view of regulatory exposure, stronger risk and compliance footing, and strategic direction suited to the scrutiny a development bank operates under.

AI education and advisory for an S&P 500 company's portfolio startups
Situation
An S&P 500 company wanted the startups it had invested in to use AI well, not as hype, but as genuine commercial advantage. These portfolio companies were moving fast and needed practical, credible AI guidance suited to their stage and pace.
What I did
I delivered AI education and advisory to the portfolio: cutting through the noise on what AI can and can't do, where it creates real value for an early-stage company, and how to adopt it without taking on disproportionate risk. Sessions were practical and tailored, drawing on my experience taking AI products from concept to launch.
The value
A portfolio of startups making sharper, better-informed AI decisions, more confident about where to invest effort, more realistic about the technology, and better positioned to turn AI into a genuine commercial edge for their investor.

AI strategy, governance and education for the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation
Situation
The Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, custodian of the world's first garden city, wanted to approach AI deliberately, not only to build its people's understanding, but to set a clear strategy and the right policies and governance for how the organisation adopts and uses AI responsibly.
What I did
I supported the Foundation across the full picture: shaping its AI strategy, putting sensible policy and governance in place for how AI is used, and delivering tailored education that demystified the technology for a non-technical team. Strategy and guardrails on one hand, practical literacy on the other, grounded throughout in their actual work.
The value
An organisation that moved from uncertainty to a confident, considered position on AI, with a strategy to guide it, governance to keep it responsible, and a team equipped to engage with the technology and make sensible decisions about its place in their work.
